PhD Series 3 – Meghan Hoyt

LawPod Director Rachel Killean talks to PhD candidate Meghan Hoyt about her research into misogyny and hate crime.

Meghan Hoyt is a first year PhD researcher at Queen University Belfast. Her thesis is entitled Addressing Misogyny: Gender, Hate Crime and New Feminist Approaches and she is exploring whether or not current hate crime legislation in the UK could be used to tackle the gendered harms associated with misogyny.
