On the 25th May the Republic of Ireland will vote in a referendum on whether or not to Repeal the eighth amendment of the Irish Constitution.
The Eighth Amendment of the Constitution Act 1983 amended the Constitution by inserting a subsection recognising the equal right to life of the mother and the unborn.
